Recruitment Criteria:
Inclusion Criteria
- Must be student at approved and participating school
- History of very stressful life event(s)
- Ages 9-16
- Non-abusing caretaker willing to participate in project
- Willingness to participate in therapy
- Current stable home environment with no exposure to perpetrators
Exclusion Criteria

Clinically significant medical illness.

Diagnosis of Autism or Schizophrenia.

History of mental retardation or known IQ less than 70.

History of alcohol or drug dependence. If you are not sure, research team will evaluate this criterion.
